There are some loose connections to Searching, but Missing stands apart, so you don’t need to watch the 2018 movie to check this out (even though the 2018 one is good!). An anthology sequel to the first film (another underrated flick) Searching starring John Cho, Missing is a screenlife film similar to movies like Unfriended, Host, Spree, and Ratter. Still, it’s compelling enough to include here because it’s an excellent and underrated film. Missing is more of a standard thriller than a horror movie.
